From everyone at Caleva, we would like to say a massive 'thank-you' to our Production Manager, Andy Smith for 47 years of outstanding service.
Following an engineering apprenticeship at Hawker Siddeley, Andy joined Caleva in 1972, and has witnessed the company's transformation into the successful international business it is today.
From ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the company run smoothly, to keeping production under control during busy times, Andy has been an integral part of the Caleva team.
Having continued to work past his retirement age, Andy has now made the well earned decision to step down from his role as Production Manager.
He has seen many changes throughout his journey with us, and is a walking encyclopaedia of all things Caleva. As much as it saddens us to see him go, we will remember the hard work and commitment he has displayed over the years, leaving us in a perfect position to drive the business going forward.
We rest easy knowing that his quick-witted sense of humour will be put to good use wherever he goes, and his warm, welcoming nature will stay with the team for a long time.
From the entire team at Caleva, past and present. Thank you Andy for helping mould this company into what it is today.
