Representatives from Caleva’s Operations team attended the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics exhibition earlier this month to discover the latest developments in machinery, production equipment, electronic assembly, and tooling.
The annual event held at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre, in Hampshire (UK), is aimed at anyone involved in design, engineering production and procurement, making it an important event for the team to attend.
Attendance at the exhibition is just one of the ways we ensure our team stay up-to-date with the latest technology, products and production hardware, helping to maintain our high quality standards.
The aim of the visit was to acquire new information with a view of improving and streamlining Caleva’s existing processes within the production environment.
Bringing their new knowledge back to Caleva HQ, the Operations team can ensure that they maintain and improve on the efficiency of their processes and production techniques, to deliver the best possible products and service to our global customer base.
Caleva’s Operations Manager Justin Smith said “It was a valuable day for the team and a great opportunity for us to stay ahead of the latest innovations in production and procurement. We look forward to using the insights gained to benefit the company, and improve our processes.”
The visit to the exhibition supports Caleva’s commitment to improvement, in line with our ISO 9001 certification. This ensures Caleva's international customers receive an exceptional service, and high quality, reliable products.
“As a business we want to ensure that we continue to improve the quality of our products and services, providing the necessary resources, training and staff awareness to achieve those objectives.” Caleva’s Managing Director, Richard Lovell, said. “Ultimately this will always benefit our customers and the end-users of our products.”
